Delmer Pizero Qualls, 90, of Sims, Arkansas, passed away, Thursday, February 8, 2024, at his home. He was born March 19, 1933, in Washita, Arkansas, to Albert and Mildred (Tucker) Qualls. He is preceded in death by both of his parents, his daughter Mary Fay Qualls, brothers Eston Qualls, Lester Qualls, Vestel Qualls, sisters Bessie Smith, Dollie McKinney, Millie Qualls and niece Rhonda McKinney.
Delmer is survived by his wife of 67 years Fay Qualls, sister-in-law Freda Qualls, nephews Jerry Qualls, Terry Qualls, Kerry Qualls and Kevin Qualls along with a host of other family and friends.
Delmer loved to garden and grow his flowers. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also loved going to his church at Grenade Holiness, and singing there, where he knew all of the songs. On Friday nights (before being shut down due to Covid), he and Fay attended singing at Avant Community Church, where they made many friends.
Service will be Monday, February 12, 2024, 2:00 pm, at Muddy Creek Church of God in Story with Bro. Danny Tillery officiating. The burial will be at Reed Cemetery. The Pallbearers are Stacy McKay, Terry McKay, Brian McKay, Kenny McKay, Billy Wisener and Freddie Ridenhour. Honorary Pallbearers will be Lloyd Lewis and Bobby Joe Irons.
