Joe Lud Hulsey

Joe Lud Hulsey, 71, of Lonoke, Arkansas, passed away at his home, Wednesday, February 28, 2024. He was born May 11, 1952 in Little Rock to the late Andrew Howard and Mildred Arvilla (Fisher) Hulsey. He is preceded in death by both of his parents, both passed in 2006 his sister in 2022 and a brother in 2019.

Joe is survived by brothers Andrew W. Hulsey of Winter Springs, Florida and Jack H. Hulsey of McRae, Arkansas, many nieces and nephews, along with a host of other family and friends.

Joe described himself as a self-starter, hard worker, enjoyed a good challenge, led a simple life and a "rambling-man". Joe has always been generous with friends and strangers. Joe just wants to be buried with clean clothes back in Mount Ida where his roots grew deep.

Joe will be laid to rest, Wednesday, March 6th, 2024, 2:00 pm, at Stanley Standridge Cemetery in Mount Ida, Arkansas. Arrangements were made and directed by Thornton Funeral Home In Mount Ida, Arkansas. guests may register at thorntonfh.com
