Pearl Blocker

Pearl Blocker, 80, of Story, Arkansas, passed away November 23, 2019, in Mount Ida, AR. She was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas on June 7, 1939 to Wilburn and Sylvania Hyde. She is preceded in death by both parents, her husband, Dillard Blocker, and two sisters, Glenda Hyde and Doris Mayberry.

Pearl is survived by her son, Mark Blocker, granddaughter, Markie Blocker, cousins, Allen (Donna) Golden and Trecia (Rob) Chedister, along with a host of other family and friends.

Service will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Refuge Baptist Church in Story, Arkansas with Bro Tommy Jones officiating. Burial will follow after service at Reed Cemetery in Story, Arkansas. Arrangements were made under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home of Mount Ida, AR. Guest register at www.thorntonfh.com
