Shirley Angell

Shirley Elder Angell, 69, of Oden, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Shirley was born September 18, 1951 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Clyde and Deloris Elder. She is preceded in death by both parents and her brother; Carl Elder.

After moving back to Oden and buying the place of her dreams, Shirley and her husband bought and reopened the donut shop “Donuts made by Angell’s in Mount Ida, all while she worked at the Assisted Living part time. Shirley and Leo have played Santa and Miss Claus in Mount Ida several times.

Shirley is survived by her husband; Leo Angell of 33 years, son; Jeff Crump, granddaughter; Jamie Crump, 2 brothers; Herman Elder and Dale (Zella) Elder all of Oden, Arkansas, along with a host of family and friends.

Graveside service will be held Monday, December 21st, 2020, 1:00 pm at Brushy Cemetery with Bro. Scott Jones officiating. Due to the Covid19 virus, the family has asked if you are unable to attend to please take a moment and reflect on pleasant memories of Shirley.
