David Elmer Schou

David Elmer Schou, 61, of Mount Ida, AR passed away August 13, 2024, in Hot Springs, AR at Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort for a job interview. David was born July 9, 1963. In DeKalb, IL to Donald and Betty Jean (Friestead) Schou. David is preceded in death by both parents, brothers Howard and Gary Schou.

David is survived by his wife of 30 years Becky Schou, sons Daniel Schou and wife Jen, Jacob Schou, daughters Samantha Neibel, Laurie Wollard and husband Kyle, Haley Ochoa and husband Nick, Diana Cheek and husband Bobbie, 8 grandchildren Avery, Cade, Mason, Jason, Sawyer, Liam, Emmy and Teddy, brother Roger Schou and wife Pam, sister-in-law Patty Schou, nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.
