Dexter James Summitt

Dexter Summitt, 74, of Sims, Arkansas, passed away August 2, 2024, at his home with his family by his side. Dexter was born June 19, 1950, in Hot Springs, AR, to Nelson and Wanda (Baker) Summitt. Dexter is preceded in death by both parents, one brother Gregory Summitt. 

Dexter is survived by his wife Dewanna Summitt of 41 years, son Eric Summitt, daughters Brandi Mayo and husband Ethan, Shawna Spier and husband Gary, grandchildren Paxton and Tirey Spier, niece Brittany Summitt, and other family and friends.
