Donna Kay Woodfield

Donna Kay Tharp Woodfield, 72 of Mount Ida, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2025, with family by her side. Born September 2, 1952, in Snyder, TX to Alvin and Betty (Condry) Tharp. She preceded in death by both her parents, brothers Charles Wayne Tharp and Alvin Carl Tharp Jr, one grandson Bradley Beatty.

Donna is survived by her husband of 55 years Michael Woodfield Sr, daughter Mary Kay Woodfield Beatty, son Michael A Woodfield Jr, three grandsons Byron Scott Woodfield, Nathan Andrew Woodfield, Matthew Dewight Beatty, and four great-granddaughters. 

Donna was a born again Christian and a follower of Jesus. She was a member of Lake Ouachita Baptist Church. She also loved fishing.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 6 to 8 pm at Thornton Funeral Home. Graveside service Friday, April 18, 2025, at 1pm at Fitzhugh Cemetery in Pine Bluff, AR. Michael Woodfield Jr will be officiating the service. Pallbearers are Byron Woodfield, Nathan Woodfield, Matthew Beatty, Alvin Tharp III, Clay McDowell, and Michael Woodfield Jr. Arrangements under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home in Mount Ida, AR.
