Fannie Sue Lambert, age 92, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. She was born January 6, 1932, in Booneville AR. To those who loved her the most she was known as Mom, Grannie Fannie and Aunt Fannie. She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Elsie Mae Fry, two husbands Forrest Lambert and Clyde Lambert, an infant daughter Patricia Lambert, son Eldon Lambert, sister Shirley Temple Lang, brother JF (Sonny) Fry and sister-in-law, Patsy Fry. 

She is survived by three daughters, Rosemary Price (Charles) of Hot Springs AR, Debbie Standridge (Steve) of Mount Ida AR and Becky Abernathy of Mount Ida AR, eight grandchildren, Brandy Bradford (John) of Mount Ida AR, Amy Bryant (Chad) of Story AR, Alisha Pollock (John) of Hot Springs AR, Josh Lambert (Dena) of Buckville AR, Jared Standridge (Lacey) of Dennard AR, Brad Abernathy of Mount Ida AR, Brett Lambert of Story AR and Adam Price (Danielle) of Little Rock AR; twelve great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, loving friends and a very special family member and friend, Janelle Stamps. Fannie loved the Lord and her family dearly. 

In the 92 years she was on this earth she held many titles and jobs. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Fannie had several occupations during her lifetime and her work ethic was remarkable. For the last 30 years she has been the friendly voice at S & P Insurance Partners where she loved being the receptionist. She enjoyed her work every day, right up until her passing. She loved spending time with her family at home and camping at Lake Ouachita. She loved to cook and prepare meals for her loved ones, the more people the merrier. Fannie was all about family and making memories. She had an excellent sense of humor and a kind loving heart. She was an avid reader, loved her word search puzzles, playing games on her computer, and watching game show network. A very special thank you to Dr. Richard Kyle Roper and nurse Becky Lambert Palmer of CHI St. Vincent Clinic, Fannie loved them both as family. 

Visitation for Fannie will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Muddy Creek Church of God, Story AR. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 10:00 am. Burial will be at Reed Cemetery; Story AR. Service will be officiated by Brother Roger Harper. Pallbearers; Jared Standridge, Brad Abernathy, Adam Price, John Pollock, John Bradford, Blake Wingfield, Sam Standridge, and Jacob Bradford. Honorary Pallbearers are Sydney Standridge, Allie Pollock, Shelby Standridge, Averie Pollock, Marley Wingfield, Kaitlyn Bradford and Alden Price. Arrangements were made under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home, Mount Ida AR.
