John Landon Mcadams

Landon McAdams, 13, of Oden, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023. He was born July 15, 2009, to BJ McAdams and Alissa (Abernathy) Ford. He is preceded in death by his beloved sister, Jordyn Stearman, his great grandfather, Carl “Poppy” Smith and his uncle Donald Lewis.

Landon is survived by his mother Alissa (Josh) Ford, his father, BJ McAdams, his sisters, Kobi and Aleya Stearman, his maternal grandparents, Phillip (Kim) Abernathy, Lisa (Eddie) Pearson, maternal great grandmother, Helen (Bumby) Smith his paternal grandmother, Linda Bridges (step grandfather, Bruce Bridges), Uncle Carter (Jori) Abernathy, cousins, Aubree, Jamison, Carson, and his girlfriend, Josie Elder, grandparents, Larry Ford and Laverne Ryan, Aunt Melinda May along with a host of cousins, other family and friends.

Graveside service will be Friday, March 31, 2023, 10:00 am at Oden Cemetery with Bro. Fred Hunter officiating. Pallbearers will be Bob Smith, Jaxon Green, Joseph Harris, Carter Abernathy, Tyler Gossett and Josh Ford. Arrangements are under the direction of Thornton Funeral Service in Mt. Ida.
