Louie Dean Stanley

Louie Dean Stanley, 92 of Mt. Ida passed away Friday, August 23, 2024, at the Montgomery County Nursing Home. She was born April 20, 1932, to L.O. and Florence Brakefield. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, L.D. “Sonny” Stanley, her parents; sisters, Estelene Thonton, Regie Short, Helen O’Neal, Jessie Faye Whittington, and Irene Brakefield. 

She is survived by two daughters, Brigitte Stanley and Christy Stewart, both of Mt. Ida. Three grandchildren, Derek Sandlin, Drew Stewart and Savanah (Austen) Radimer and three great-grandchildren, Irwin Sandlin, Sonny Radimer and Stanley Radimer; two sisters-in-law, Teny Gibbs and Edna Ruth Mayberry; nieces and nephews and a host of cherished friends. 

Her sweet personality, beautiful smile and love of dancing will be missed by all who knew her. 

Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 10:00AM at Stanley-Standridge Cemetery in Mt. Ida, Arkansas.
