Marsha Diane Ruth

Marsha Diane Ruth, 71, of Mount Ida, Arkansas, passed away, Thursday, February 24, 2022, at home. She was born December 7, 1950, in Lafe, Arkansas, to the late Buford and Ellen (Williams) Hendrix. Ruth is preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband of 34 years, Leslie Ruth who passed away April 4, 2020, and one great-granddaughter; Alanna Lerille.

She was a retired accountant from Ruth’s Accounting and the owner of Ruth’s Twin Creek Bait and Tackle Shop in Mount Ida.
Marsha is survived by her daughters; Karen (Dan) Smith and Donna Craig, grandchildren; Dana (Scotty) Lawrence, Nikki Plummer, Ricky (Traci) Lerille, 7 great-grandchildren, an aunt; Shirley (Paul) Smith along with a host of other family and friends.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, March 2, 2022, 2:00pm at Joplin Cemetery in Mount Ida, with Bro. Dakota Barrett officiating. Arrangements were made under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home of Mount Ida, Arkansas. Guest register at www.thorntonfh.com
