Ola Belle Kostelnik, 92, of Mount Ida, Arkansas, passed away, Sunday, December 11, 2022, in Hot Springs. She was born October 8, 1930, to Edgar Washington and Era Caldonia (Forbes) Black. She was married to George Kostelnik Sr. on December 3, 1976. She is preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband, George on June 23, 2016, brothers, William E. “Bill” Black Harold “Sandy” Black, sisters, Era Goodner, Druzelle Jenkins and Alta Garner, son, Buck Moudy, newphews, Bill Grey Goodner, Roy Black and niece, Nancy Booth.
Ola Belle (Polly) is survived by her son, Mike Moudy (Jane) and grandson, Eric Moudy, stepson, George Kostelnik Jr. (Deyon), step-granddaughter, Kelli McEntire (Rusty), great-grandchildren, Bently and Beckham, stepdaughter, Dena Bolk and step grandson, Brandon Tabor.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 14, 2022, 5:00-7:00 pm at Thornton Funeral Home Chapel. Service will be Thursday, December 15, 2022, 2:00 pm, at First Baptist Church of Mount Ida with Bro. Bill Ashburn officiating. Pallbearers will be Greg Black, Chuck Black, Jimmy John Black, Alvin Black, Jeremiah Sekavac and John Dickey.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Montgomery County Nursing Home Auxiliary Thrift Store and/or Stanley-Standridge Cemetery Fund c/o Louie Dean P.O. Box 331 Mount Ida, Arkansas.
