Reba Joy Gray

Reba Gray, 88, of Sims, AR, passed away January 6, 2024, at Montgomery County Nursing Home, Mount Ida, AR surrounded by her family.  Reba was born on April 28, 1935, in Elgin, OK, to the late Claude and Thelma Actkinson. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl Gray, brothers Dub Actkinson, Ray Actkinson, Bill Actkinson, Curtis Actkinson, sisters Peggy Ringheison, Nita Sabinske.

Reba is survived by her five children Carla Gray Thomas, Joyce Gray O’Neal, Bruce Gray, Chris Gray (Robin), Jeff Gray (Rachael), grandchildren, Courtney O’Neal, Justin McKinzie, Ashley Holt (Todd), Chase Gray, Adam O’Neal, ( Leeann), Tyler O’Neal (Allie), Whitney Starr (Kelly), Alyssa Gray, Alexis Gray, Andrew Thomas (Jourdan), Brady Gray (Maddie), Stormi Mayberry, Natalie Driver, Garrett Driver, and Gus Gray. Greatgrandchildren, MeKenzie Walden, Shaelyn Starr, Cross Walden, Trystin O’Neal, Mava Walden, Piper O’Neal, Kennedy Holt, Grant O’Neal, Mason O’Neal, Hayden Thomas, AaJay O’Neal, and Addason O’Neal, brother Tommy Actkinson, sister Jelane Polson (Ron), nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

The visitation will be Wednesday, January 10, 2024, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Thornton Funeral Home. Graveside service is Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Rocky Cemetery in Sims, AR. with Bro. John Guerra officiating.

Pallbearers will be her grandson’s, Chase Gray, Adam O’Neal, Tyler O’Neal, Andrew Thomas, Brady Gray, Gus Gray and Justin McKinzie.
