Roy Ballard Rhoden

Roy Ballard Rhoden, 84, of Mount Ida, Arkansas, passed away at his home Friday, July 26th, 2024. He was born December 8th, 1939, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to the late Virgil and Betty Rhoden. He is preceded in death by both parents, his wife Kathleen Ann Rhoden and his brothers, Roger and Nelson Eddie Rhoden.

Roy is survived by his sons, Virgil Rhoden and Jeff (Cheri) Wilkerson and his daughters, Mindy (Donnie) Miller, Shannon Lambert, 9 grandchildren,  Sebastian (Raven) Reems, Zach, Tyler (Reagan) Rhoden, Caleb Rhoden, Paige, Kassidy, Trinity, Sheridan Lambert  2 great grandchildren, Octavia Rosaleigh Rhoden, Chandler Blake Rhoden.  And brother, Ron Rhoden and nieces, Janie and Betty Rhoden and host of other family and friends.

Roy was a devout Christian who loved the Lord. He spent his days studying his Bible or working outside around the house.  Roy was a wonderful dad and grandpa. He took every chance he could to spend time with them.  Seems a visit from Papa always included some sort of candy for the grandkids. "Papa" will forever be missed.

Graveside service will be Tuesday, July 30th, 2024, 2pm at Rocky Cemetery in Sims, Arkansas, with Bro. Ricky Miller officiating.
