Shirley V Mcallister

Shirley V. McAllister, 73, of Mount Ida, Arkansas entered her heavenly home, on Thursday, November 9, 2023. She was born July 29, 1950, in Bismarck, North Dakota to the late Jesse & Virginia Wiley. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Devon Alex McAllister II, and her daughter Holly Day.

Shirley is survived by her son, Devon Alex McAllister III of Pearcy, Arkansas, 2 grandsons, Jesse & Joey, brother Harold Wiley of Las Vegas, Nevada, sister Yvonne Stover, nephew Jacob Stover of Mount Ida, Arkansas and niece Taylor Shirley of Amity, Arkansas along with several friends and people who cherished her.

Shirley worked at the Mount Ida shoe factory for nearly 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved listening to rock and roll music. She was an avid painter and baker. Shirley lived life to the fullest and wanted those around her to experience life as she lived it. In her later years, she became a resident of the Montgomery County Nursing Home where she spent the remainder of her life brightening the lives of everyone who met her.
