Therman Ray Hill was found deceased at his residence on January 21st, 2021. He was born on July 8th, 1952 to Therman E. and Zelda Louise (Summitt) Hill in Eugene, Oregon.
He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1969 where after earning the National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal and having received a Letter of Appreciation for serving his country he was given an Honorable discharge in 1975.
Arkansas was calling to him so he finally moved, for the final time, to Plainsville in the summer of 2019 and was excited to be around his cousins and other relatives.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching war movies and riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by his three nieces and their husbands; Bobbi (Terry) Benton of Winnemuca, NV; Jennifer (Jess) Brakeman of Coos Bay, OR; and Kimberley (Jeremy) Burge of Beulah, ND. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Carrie Hill; his sister, Gloria (Hill) King; and his parents Therman and Zelda Louise (Summitt) Hill.
He will be buried at the Hawks Family Cemetery in Hollis, Arkansas, at a later date (not yet determined). In lieu of monetary donations, please send to the American Cancer Society.
