Willie D "Bill" Scurlock

Willie “Bill” Scurlock, 88, of Mount Ida, AR passed away April 16, 2025. Bill was born October 20, 1936, in Mount Ida, AR, to Orpheus and Margaret Scurlock. He is preceded in death by both parents, son William Douglas Scurlock.

Bill served his country in the Navy and was a Korean War Vet.

Bill is survived by his wife of 61 years Margaret Ann (Tubbs) Scurlock, brother Allen Golden and wife Donna, daughters Brookie Mayberry and husband Marty, Marlene Rowan and husband Bob, sons Michael Scurlock and wife Phyllis, George Scurlock, daughter in law April Scurlock, grandchildren Taylor Scurlock, Rachel Scurlock, Ira Mayberry and wife Brittany, Jessica Austin and husband Jeremy, Alexa Rowan and husband Draven, Arianna Rowan, Tyler Scurlock and wife Mary Ann, Skyler Scurlock and wife Hannah, Trevor Scurlock and wife Kara, Logan Scurlock and wife Hailey, Dalton Scurlock, great-grandchildren Yusef, Maryam, Emma, Addie, Haegan, Ara, Hylynn, Aspynn, Laytyn, Waylon, Kyle, Magdalene, Trinity, Lydia and Lennox.

Graveside service will be Friday, April 18, 2025, at 1pm at Stanley Standridge Cemetery in Mount Ida, with Bro. Don Vaughn officiating. Pallbearers are Ira Mayberry, Jeremy Austin, Tyler Scurlock, Skyler Scurlock, Trevor Scurlock, Logan Scurlock, Dalton Scurlock and BJ Tubbs.
